University of Illinois visits MUST for Innovations Partnerships
MUST continues to shine in pursuance of its internationalisation agenda with yet another visit by the University of Illinois from 17th to 28th February 2020. This visit follows the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding between MUST and U of I. This maiden visit is led by Assoc. The nine people delegation team of staff and students is working closely with staff from the Faculty of Medicine and Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer (CITT)/CAMTech led by Dr. Data Santorino to develop innovations in patient management, antenatal care and depression. The innovations were reviewed by a multidisciplinary panel of experts from the concept note to the implementation stage. I of U is also interested in working closely with the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology (FAST) to advance an innovation hub. The delegation team met with the Vice Chancellor Prof. Celestino Obua who welcomed them and emphasised the importance of multidisciplinarity in developing innovations to solve challenges.
