Communication Branding and Marketing Unit
The Communication, Branding, and Marketing Department is responsible for shaping and protecting the University’s reputation. Through s media relations, comprehensive branding, targeted outreach, effective marketing, and digital communication, the department plays a pivotal role in achieving the University’s strategic goals.
Key functions include developing and implementing a strong brand identity, creating essential branding guide and fostering positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This department is instrumental in ensuring that the University’s message aligns well  with its target stakeholders.
The unit also ensures that the University and its activities, achievements and awards are communicated appropriately to both the internal and external stakeholders so as to enhance a positive image

The Office handles Communication and Marketing activities, which include:
This Office is responsible for managing University Corporate events especially those hosted by the Chancellor and Vice Chancellor . this includes Planning, organization, coordination and implementation.
The most notable of these is the annual Graduation ceremony, presided over by the Chancellor with the emceeing function handled by the communications’ officer, Admission ceremony by the Vice Chancellor,the annual research Conference; before, during and after , open days and the university day.
The Communications’  Office is responsible for the publication of University corporate information which includes The Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor and minister’s  speeches for Graduation ceremonies and any other public functions, Graduation Newsletters, special editions as well as updating the News portal. Publish the institutional repository information to motivate researchers
The Office is also responsible for marketing the University’s Corporate image to both the internal and external stakeholders.
Some of these activities include; Promoting the University at events e.g. exhibitions, conferences Corporate social responsibilities  alongside the use of promotional materials such as brochures, fliers, calendars, plaques and other mementos.
