Overview
Scaling up Mama Toto for Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Uganda Project also abbreviated as Healthy Adolescents and Young People (HAY!) supports district-led activities and multi-level capacity building to strengthen adolescent and young people-friendly services in southwest Uganda. Through comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) programming, HAY! promotes dignified care at health facilities and supports young people in making informed and confident decisions about their health in a safe and respectful environment. The project is under Healthy Child Uganda, Maternal Newborn and Child Health Institute, MUST. It’s governed by a steering committee composed of MUST representatives; Mr. Melchior Byaruhanga, University Secretary and Associate Prof. Vincent Batwala, Director of Research and Graduate Training and representatives of University of Calgary International; Dr. Dianne Mosher, Associate Dean, Medicine and Ms. Ria Katsaounis, Manager, Business Operations.
