On January 27, a significant transition took place at the University as Engineer Patrick Mujunansi officially handed over his office to Engineer Achillies Byabashaija. ThisĀ was witnessed by the university’s internal auditor, Mr. Godfrey Mutebi, marking the start of a new journey for both engineers.
For the next two years, Eng. Patrick Mujunansi will be pursuing a Masterās degree in Civil Engineering, a requirement set by the Ministry of Public Service for individuals in his position. Patrick is not just a dedicated professional; he is a corporate member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (UIPE) and a registered engineer with the Engineering Board. He has a solid educational background, having earned a Bachelorās degree in Civil Engineering from Makerere University (MUK) and a postgraduate diploma in Project Planning and Management.
Meanwhile, Eng. Achillies Byabashaija steps into his new role with impressive qualifications of his own. He holds a Bachelorās degree in Civil Engineering from Ndejje University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Construction Engineering from Makerere University, and a Masterās degree in Construction Management from the same institution. Prior to this transition, Achillies served as the municipality engineer for Sheema Municipality Council, bringing valuable experience to his new position.


As both engineers embark on their respective journeysāone into academia and the other into leadershipāwe wish them the best of luck.
