Thanksgiving Prayer after the 30th Graduation Ceremony

Almighty God, on this momentous occasion, the 30th graduation ceremony of Mbarara University of Science and Technology, we come before you with hearts full of gratitude.

We thank you for our beloved alma mater, MUST, a beacon of knowledge and excellence that has nurtured countless minds and shaped the future of our nation and beyond. 

We express our deepest appreciation for the successful day you granted us. We thank you for the presence of dignitaries like: Honorable Minister John C. Muyingo, Chancellor Prof. Charles Mark Lwanga Olweny, Chairman Dr. Warren Naamara and the entire council, Vice Chancellor Prof. Celestino Obua and the top management, the University Senate, Academic Registrar Dr. Martha Kyoshaba, and the entire graduation committee. The Religious leaders from different denominations, political and civil Leaders our partners in Development and well-wishers.

Your blessings extended to the beautiful weather that graced the ceremony, allowing us to celebrate this milestone with joy and comfort. We are especially grateful for the graduating students who have earned their Bachelors, Masters, and PhDs. We thank you for their dedication, perseverance, and the unwavering support they received from their families and sponsors.

We extend our gratitude to the Deans  and Directors of Faculties and Institutes, as well as our Service providers who made this day a success. Special thanks go to the MUST convocation, the Uganda Police Force, EYIT TV, Top-lead Events, Cool Events, the UPDF brass band, and all who contributed.

Even in moments where things might not have gone according to plan, we praise your mercy and love that carried us through. We are thankful for the safe journey mercies granted to both national and international guests.

We express our appreciation for the master and mistress of ceremony, Solomon Agum and Sheila Niinye Oliva, who guided the event with grace and professionalism. We are also grateful for the medical team that  intervened during the emergency at the event. We give you Glory that the Victim is out of danger, you Name is Yahweh, Jehovah, Lion of Judah, King of Kings.

As we celebrate this achievement, we continue to pray for your blessings upon MUST. May it continue to stand out as a center of academic excellence, fostering innovation, and shaping generations of leaders to come.
