The University of Edinburgh through partnership with the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program is inviting postgraduate scholarship applications.
In response to the climate crisis the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Edinburgh will invest in a community of skilled, entrepreneurial, and compassionate
future leaders from across Africa.
Through our Scholars Program we offer talented young people high-quality, sustainability focused postgraduate learning opportunities, equipping them with the knowledge, skills and networks to promote sustainable transitions. The programme aims to deliver systems change through a range of interdisciplinary Masters degrees and diplomas, and Transformative Leadership learning opportunities. We will support the next generation of African leaders to pave the way forward for the African continent.
Successful scholars receive:
• funding
• leadership opportunities
• pastoral support
• onward transition support
Applications are especially encouraged from:
• young women
• young people with disabilities
• young people with refugee and displaced status
