MUST – Tilburg University collaboration was a research-based collaboration on the economic empowerment of women of the Women’s International Cross Cultural Exchange (ISIS – WICCE). The collaboration aimed to identify the impact of social protection schemes, such as cash transfers on economic resilience in order to influence policy and was funded by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Development. It focused on providing cost benefit analysis of cash transfer programmes and post trauma services for economic empowerment of women in Uganda. Tilburg University has also supported MUST researchers to hold fellowships and complete their PhD training.
