In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Celestino Obua welcomed the Ambassador and appreciated Cuba for the enormous support to MUST that should never be underrated. He expressed that MUST is very comfortable with Cuban professors that are always sent to teach and noted that their contribution is cherished.

Through their service, many lives have been impacted. Speaking about the worth of the Cuban professors, the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Academic Affairs, Prof. Nixon Kamukama said that a price can not be attached to what they have done, they picked MUST from grass to grace and have provided a blend in teaching that overcomes inbreeding.

They always focus on teaching and treating patients, which is a real asset to MUST. The University Secretary Mr. Melchior Byaruhanga attested to the good working relationship with the professors over the years.
