Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) has once again etched its name in history at the #SASTCE2025 by winning the National Petrobowl Championship for the third consecutive time—breaking the host curse!
The event was organized by the Society of petroleum engineers Uganda Section.
According to Eng. Fortune Ogene, the coach and patron of the Petroleum Association at MUST, the participants showcased an unshakable spirit, unmatched brilliance, and pure dominance. The champions are now set to represent Uganda on the continental stage at the African Petrobowl Qualifiers in Kano, Nigeria.
Eng. Ogene also expressed gratitude to Dr. Eng. Johnes Obungoloch, the dean, for the support rendered, alongside the university administration.
