Succeed We Must

Holicare at the 19th Annual Research Dissemination Conference (ARDC) A Collaborative Step Towards Global Health

Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) is proud to announce that Holicare, a global initiative dedicated to improving access to diagnostic testing, will be participating in the 19th Annual Research Dissemination Conference (ARDC) on November 15,2024, at Las vegas hotel Mbarara.

Holicare brings together Academia and industry to support their ambition to transform the current practices of healthcare delivery in Sub-Saharan Africa:
• Healthcare aid and research organisations from Ethiopia, Uganda and Senegal who will play the role of “early adopters”.
• Academic partners from Uganda and Europe with research expertise in health diagnostics and management – with specific experience in disease management programmes and conditions that most affect the African continent.
• SMEs specialised in the development of innovative entrepreneurial ecosystems with expertise in impact innovation and developing digital communications and Artificial Intelligence solutions.
• Private non-profit organisation and Industrialists that are world leaders in the fields of lateral flow tests, microfluidic technologies as well as conducting clinical trials

Holicare’s mission aligns perfectly with MUST’s commitment to advancing scientific research and addressing pressing global health challenges. By bringing together experts from academia and industry, Holicare is driving innovation and developing cutting-edge solutions to improve patient care.

During the ARDC, Holicare representatives will share insights into their latest research findings, discuss the importance of early and accurate diagnosis of respiratory tract infections, and explore collaborative opportunities with MUST researchers.
The ARDC provides a platform for researchers, clinicians, and policymakers to exchange ideas, share experiences, and collaborate on projects that can have a significant impact on global health. “We are excited to welcome Holicare to this year’s conference and look forward to the valuable contributions they will make”, said Associate Professor Joel Bazira, the Chairperson of the organising committee of the ARDC.
