National Nursing Students Challenge

Mbarara University Nursing Students’ Association (MUNSA) in collaboration with Uganda Bachelor Nursing and Midwives (UBUNMSA) Students Association and Uganda National Association of Student Nurses and Midwives (UNASNUM) are organizing a national nursing student’s challenge .The national nursing students challenge is going to be an academic quiz competition between nursing students from the above mentioned institutions. It is held in line with the theme of this year’s nurses’ week celebrations “invest in nursing, respect rights to secure global health”.

The objectives of this activity are

• To widen the knowledge of future nurses as pertaining the nursing practice.
• To strengthen the bond between nursing students at MUST and other nursing students from the different institutions
• Strengthening interactions of MUST and the other institutions
• Sharing learning experiences among the different nursing students in Uganda.

By the end of the activity we hope to have achieved those objectives, having invested in the nursing students, adding knowledge, they will be able to have improved in their nursing practice and be able to improve nursing practice so as to secure global health.

Participants include Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST), Bishop Stuart University (BSU), Muni University, Makerere University, Uganda Christian University, Clerk International University, Lira University, Busitema University, Mountain Of The Moon University, Kampala International University.
