On Dec 17, 2024 , the top management of Mbarara University of Science and Technology, led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Pauline Byakika Kibwika, embarked on an appreciation tour of the newly constructed home for the Faculty of Computing and Informatics. The tour was expertly guided by representatives from NEC Work Limited, the civil contractor responsible for the project, alongside the supervisory team from Oubuntu Consultancy.
