Mbarara University of Science and Technology to nurture Soroti University in Engineering Programmes.

A delegation from the University of Soroti has visited MUST, Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology with the intention of benchmarking in all spheres. The team from Soroti University was led by Prof. Percival Egau, Dean School of Engineering and Technology, Soroti University, Eng. Lynn Tar Gutu HOD Electronics and Computer Engineering and other staff.

The Dean of Faculty Applied Sciences and Technology, Dr. Johnes Obungoloch and his team welcomed the team and pledged full support to the visiting team.

In his remarks, Prof Egau appreciated the team at MUST for the warm welcome and the zeal to support Soroti University particularly the School of Engineering and Technology. Prof. Egau said he was one of the academicians in the establishment of Engineering departments in East Africa and Africa at large. He was part of the team that spearheaded the formulation and establishment of Engineering schools in Kenya, Eswatini, and Uganda specifically Soroti University where he is currently serving as the Dean School of Engineering and Technology.
