Dr. Rose Muhindo
HOD

The department of Internal medicine at MRRH/MUST provides quality general medical care to the population of southwestern Uganda and beyond . We offer undergraduate training (junior and Senior clerkships) and postgraduate training which takes place on the general medical wards.  This department is divided into different firms and wards , that include the medical emergency room, oncology clinic, tuberculosis treatment unit, HIV/Immunosuppression  clinic and the general medical outpatients clinic. The department also runs sub-specialty clinics that include neurology, cardiology, respiratory, nephrology and endoscopy clinics.

The postgraduate course is both research and clinical oriented and no doubt our alumni have made the best clinicians and researchers in different parts of the world.
