There is significant and continuing growth in the National and Regional Transport, Housing and Public Health sectors.

Hence civil Engineers play a pivotal role in shaping our future and are fundamental to all aspects of the built environment from the planning, designing, constructing, maintaining and managing the physical environment around us, including buildings and structures, transport systems and water collection, treatment and distribution etc to the provision of underground services.

Graduates go on to become involved in everything from planning and designing transport systems to enhancing the energy efficiency of buildings or undertaking the treatment and restoration of contaminated sites.

You will find many graduates working as Graduate Civil Engineers, Waste Management Engineers and Consultants, Project Engineers, Structural Engineers, Transport Consultants and Road Design Engineers.

Graduates also find employment outside of the engineering industry, where their numerate problem solving skills are valued in Banking Industry and Accounting Firms.
