MUST and Cyber School Technologies Hold Gender Equality for e-Learning Training

The day’s facilitators were Ms. Evelyne Zaake and Mr. Julius Opio, from Cyberschool Technologies, who shared, through interactive presentation and discussions on the gender experiences of technology uptake and use, by introducing gender concepts in eLearning. The subsequent participants’ group work focused on mapping the role of technology in perpetuating gender-based violence and exploring opportunities for positive change.

The workshop was presided over by Prof. Nixon Kamukama, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic Affairs; who announced and committed that MUST was well positioned to embrace e learning and advance gender equality and equity, and He urged staff and students to uptake technology in their academic lives, as it was the new unavoidable trend.
