The World AIDS Day HIV Awareness March is organized to raise awareness,promote HIV testing, encourage adherence and stigma reduction. The march brings together MUST students, staff and community members to raise awareness under the 2025 theme “Building a sustainable HIV Response to End AIDS as a public Health Threat by 2030.”
The event involves a coordinated procession from the MUST Main Gate through selected town routes, accompanied by messages of awareness, condom Distribution, oral quick testing kits and educational materials. The march is supported by the Uganda Police Force for security and traffic control.
The march will serve as a public demonstration of the university’s commitment to strengthening the HIV response, engaging young people, and mobilizing the community towards a healthier, stigma-free society.
