HIV status disclosure among children and adolescents (CALH) remains a significant health challenge in Uganda despite existing national and international disclosure guidelines. Disclosure is recommended between the ages of 5 and 12 years with healthcare workers (HCWs) expected to lead the disclosure process.

Harmful alcohol use is a major public health concern in Uganda, with limited access to effective and culturally acceptable treatments. Traditional medicine is widely used in Africa including Uganda, yet little is known about its role in managing alcohol-related problems.
