A 5- Day Sickle Cell Awareness, Testing And Counselling @ Pharmacology Lectutre Theatre (PLT) Grounds.
Sickle cell is not just a condition, it is a lifelong battle that demands awareness, compassion and action from us all.
Awareness today can prevent suffering tomorrow, know your status, save a life. No child should suffer in silence from a disease we can understand, detect and manage.
Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST), in a dedicated partnership with Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital (MRRH), LABORA Meds Co. Ltd, UPDF Military Hospital and Uganda Police, is proud to announce a 5-Day Sickle Cell Awareness, Testing and Counselling to Mbarara City Community.
This initiative intentionally brings the idea of giving back to the community by the laboratory professionals and the MUST students body by having a free sickle cell testing week for the locals and also testing willing members of sickle cell warriors.
