Human papillomavirus (HPV), in one way or the other, is ubiquitous in cervical cancer care from vaccination, screening and of late some forms of treatment (Therapeutic vaccines). In Uganda
and other low resource settings, we seem to have lost touch with the dynamic nature of HPV.
Here comes the million-dollar question: In all HPV-based practices, are we dealing with the right HPV genotypes?
This Grand round will focus on the HPV being at the Centre of cervical cancer care; are we as dynamic as HPV? this will be led by Dr. Frank Ssedyabane (PhD), assistant lecturer-
Histopathologist & Diagnostic – Department of Medical Science (MLS) Faculty of Health Sciences(FoHS)
