The chief presenter is Professor Eydís Kristín Sveinbjarnardóttir. She is the Academic Chair in PMH nursing, RN, MSN, PhD. School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery- University of Iceland.

Overview: “The active involvement of family members in the care of individuals with mental health challenges is a crucial factor in promoting recovery. Psychiatric nurses play a vital role in implementing family-focused interventions, as they support medication adherence, enhance coping strategies, and contribute significantly to the prevention of relapse.”
