MUST hosts 5th Color Cancer Run

Some of the kids who have benefited from previous editions of the cancer run

Global Health Collaborative (GHC) held the 5th color run on Saturday 27th July 2019. GHC is a partnership between Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) and Masachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston, USA. The 5km color run is aimed at raising funds to support children with cancer at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital and raise public awareness. Over 100m UGX has been raised from this year’s colour run. The funds will be used to provide treatment and food for children with cancer and also pay the support staff. A big thank you to the different partners, organizations and individuals that contributed towards this noble cause. MRRH has the only center that manages childhood cancers in western Uganda.
