MICRO RESEARCH TRAINING CONDUCTED SUCCESSFULLY AT MUST Maternal Newborn Child Health Institute (MNCHI) conducted its annual Micro Research (MR) workshop from 5th to 14th February 2020 led by Prof. Noni MacDonald and Dr. Shawna O’Hearn from Dalhousie University in Canada. Fistula camp at MUST

The Department of Obsetrics and Gynecology led by Dr. Musa Kayondo in collaboration with Medland from Fransisco USA are holding a fistula camp that started yesterday 2nd March to 6th March 2020. The team led by Dr. Tom Margolis holds medical camps in Asia and Africa and they have been partnering with MUST for 10 years. For every camp, they work on 55 to 60 patients. Mbarara University Pharmacy Students’ Association (MBUPSA) had a week-long of activities marking the 10th edition of “Pharmacy Week” that comprised of exhibition of medicinal products made by students and pharmaceutical companies, mentor ship workshops, and a clinical case competitions. The week-long activities ended with a medical outreach in Kanywamizi Health Centre III – Kabuyanda, Isingiro District, about 100km from Mbarara.
