Institute of Computer Science and Mbarara Municipal Council in Partnership

Information about Mbarara district will soon be available at a click of the button.  The Institute of Computer Science has partnered with Mbarara Municipal to create the Mbarara portal.  

The partnership was announced during the first stakeholder consultative workshop on information and communication technology training organized by the Institute of Computer Science.

Presiding over the workshop on Tuesday, 8th December 2009 at the Lake View Resort Hotel, Mbarara Regional District Commissioner Mr. Clement Kandole said the partnership would help government improve service delivery.

“Government’s concern is to deliver services to communities, this partnership will make the government’s service delivery in Mbarara more efficient” He said.

The partnership is supported by Makerere Faculty of Computing.
