MUST signs MoU with Uganda Police on Forensic Sciences

Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) and the Uganda Police Force on Thursday 16th August 2018 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the development of forensics sciences training in Uganda.

The Vice Chancellor of MUST, Prof. Celestino Obua signed on behalf of the university whille the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Brig. Sabiiti Muzeyi signed on behalf of the Uganda Police. The function took place at the university's Kihumuro campus in Mbarara and was witnessed by senior officials from MUST and the Uganda Police Force.

Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) on 15th May 2018 launched the Mbarara University Research Ethics Education Program (MUREEP). The program seeks to support training and mentoring activities to foster the growth of socially and culturally sensitive research ethics knowledge and skills at MUST and the surrpunding region. It is a collaboration between MUST and Case Western Reserve University (USA) for training and mentoring Ugandan researchers to be the next generation of leaders in research ethics.
