MUST's Dr. Patrick Ogwang is the New President of the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda

Dr Patrick Ogwang Engeu, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine, has been elected as the new president of the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda. He will serve the Society for a 4-year term.

Dissemination of National Child Focused Research Agenda

The Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) in collaboration with the Department of Planning and Governance (IITR-MUST) are organising a half day workshop on the dissemination of the National Child Based Research Agenda.

MUST Team Recieves 1.3m Euro Bio-Medical Engineering Grant

Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency grant

The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), a body of the European Commission has selected a MUST fronted Biomedical Medical Engineering project to recieve funding upto 1.386m Euros.

The project aims to address the teaching human resource challenge in Biomedical Enginerring among African Universities and the gaps in expertize at any particular institution. The program is under the name: "African Biomedical Engineering Mobility: Building needs-based healthcare technology competencies".

Ophthalmology Dept Recieves OCT Machine

Ophthalmology Department receives OCT machine

MUST's department of Ophthalmology on Thursday, 22nd September 2016, received a donation of new Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) machine worth over USD 50,000 and 60 vials of Avastin worth about USD 38,000.

This equipment was kindly donated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
