Teaching Assistant

I currently hold a Masters degree in ICT Convergence from Handong Global University, South Korea. In 2010 I graduated with an honors degree in Information Technology at Mbarara University and later joined the Faculty of Computing and Informatics Sciences. I also hold a Diploma in Advance Networks which i acquired from the National Institute of Information Technology in India. I am glad to be part of the Department of Information Technology which has a young, energetic and dynamic staff that are very determined to develop to developing the country through research and innovations. I teach courses in databases, Mobile programming, object oriented programming, Operating systems, networks and Human Computer Interaction. Student mentorship, supervision of both undergraduate student projects and industrial training are among my other responsibilities. Some of my Key responsibilities include;

  • MUST-MIT SANA Course Coordination, an global online course that aims at improving the quality of care in resource limited settings.
  • Proposal writing, carrying out research and supervising students
  • Actively involved in lecturing and Industrial Training supervision
  • Handong Global University representative in Uganda

  • 66th UN/DPI NGO Conference (2016, Gyeongju, South Korea) under the theme Education for Global Citizenship. I presented a paper about the role of higher education in development, for East and Central Africa.
