The Administration - Academic Registrar
The Academic Registry's main role is to act as the definitive record keeper about students and courses on behalf of the University.
The registry provides important services to students and academic communities. Its work underpins a student's academic experience from application through to graduation.
Overall responsibilities include:
- Student record system and associated support systems
- Maintenance and development of policies and procedures for academic and student regulations
- Examination
- Time tabling
- Conferment of awards
- Graduation ceremonies
- Student complaints
General Application requirements
The applicant must:
• Hold the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent with passes in at least 6 credit passes obtained at the same sitting.
• Have at least obtained 2 pricipal passes in advanced level Certificate of Education (UACE)or its equivalent taken at the same sitting, secured in the current year or previous two years.
• For Postgraduate programmes, applicants must have a good honours degree or its equivalent from a recognised University.
